This is the second version of the Ilaini-English Dictionary. It's still full of errors; if you notice a blatant one, please tell me. It was produced from a MySQL database by a Python script that Boudewijn made for me (and that I hacked a bit to produce the new order and the background colour) - in his words "a piece of cake", but the result is very impressive anyway.
In the Great Computer Crash of March 2002, I lost about a hundred words that weren't in this dictionary yet. I'm hunting them all over the Web in order to put them back in, but that will be in the third version or possibly in the Kura database.
The words are now ordered the Ilaini way, but by first letter only; after that the order is alphabetic (at least by what the computer thinks is the alphabet). This is quite true to type; in dictionaries and indexes made in Valdyas ordering after the first letter tends to be haphazard.
There are still some obsolete usages in the dictionary - a full update will really have to wait until I can put everything in Kura - such as "common" (abbreviated "A") for the epicene gender and -y- used as a consonant where it should be -j-.
No Ilaini words begin with 'dh', 'gh', 'th' or 'zh', and though words beginning with 'u' are possible I don't have any.
