Key

Each phrase is numbered. E.g. "23:" labels phrase 23.

Basic structure is indicated by bracketing. For clarity, closing brackets are followed by the number of the phrase they close. For further clarity, each phrase is placed on a new line, is preceded by a + that is indented one space to the right of its mother. Leading spaces are filled by full stops.

"_" and "#" indicate phonologically empty nodes.
"=" indicates coreference/same meaning. E.g. "18:=22" means phrase 18 and phrase 22 are coreferential.

Where n is a phrase number:
  C(n) = the phrase is complement of a valency specifier, and specifies the sense of the predicate expressed by the valency specifier
  D(n), E(n), F(n), G(n), X(n), Y(n), Z(n) = the phrase is D/E/F/G/X/Y/Z argument of phrase n

Although the phrase structure is important to how the language works, the meaning of the diagrammed sentences can be ascertained simply from the indicators of coreference and predicate-argument structure.
