A letter from Moyri to Tal-Nus
She’s been too pregnant, too busy and too tired to have any actual adventures, but that doesn’t mean she has nothing to write!

She is writing to Moyri at last; including a small skillfully executed painting of flowers.

Here, too, babies trump spies.

That Lyan didn’t say anything about the dandar was pure GM oversight, not any shortcoming of Lyan’s. [ETA:Or, as Raisse’s player said, perhaps he’ll want to wait until after Midsummer.] I hope I’ll remember next time so the queen won’t stop working with him!

He wasn’t exactly late, but took a lot of game time coming!

Raisse’s player writes:
Raisse blindly assumes that she is doing Moyri a favour by finding a replacement and that Moyri sees it the same way. If she ever thought about that consciously that may change. Probably because she is concerned for Moyri’s health and does not want her friend sacrificing it for her benefit.

Another letter dictated to Kare— respecting his sensibilities at one point.

Raisse wanted Athal’s approval for getting to know the law professor better; after all, he is in the Guild of the Nameless. Athal approves whole-heartedly, but he does want to meet him in person and to that end will give an informal dinner party for all of the professors. Not that he doesn’t already know the four who were given to him, of course.

The cryptic title will become clear towards the end…

This spans two game sessions, split in the middle of the dinner party.

We had to stop in the middle of a scene, but that was Moyri’s scene anyway (that’s why there’s no companion piece from Moyri yet: it will be two parts in one).

Both Raisse and Moyri are so pregnant that the adventure has to come to their door…

(Note: Moyri’s posts are written by Boudewijn)
It was very good to see Moyri again— and I-the-GM wasn’t the only one who thought that. She’s very pregnant, though only six months gone; but she’s tiny and it’s twins. What makes her so easily tired and short of breath is likely to be an atrial septal defect, a “hole in the heart”.

This was waiting for Athal on his return to Valdis. Fortunately, it seems to be the worst thing that happened in his absence.

Orthodox Christians should write and paint and sing and dance. We should make movies and television shows. We should make clothes and produce textiles as art as well (the fullness of culture is itself too large to describe in a sentence, a paragraph or even a book). And in all these activities, they will be expressive of the fullness of our humanity without having to stick an icon on everything to prove its Orthodoxy.
