Nominals comprise the following parts of speech: nouns, pronouns, numerals and particles. Nominalised verbs also belong to the class of nominals. (see derivation). Pronouns include personal, possessive, demonstrative, reflexive, relative, resumptive and interrogative pronouns. Nouns and pronouns can be pluralized. The main difference between nominal expressions and verbal expressions is that verbal expressions can be inflected for attitude, tense and aspect.
